THE EVENING LIGHT SONGS
The songs of a great reformation
Have gone forth in this evening of time,
And their message proclaims to each nation
The pure Gospel message sublime.
These melodies echo redemption,
Full salvation and freedom from sin,
The joy and the peace of God’s kingdom
Through His Spirit abiding within.
The songs of this great reformation,
Which were written by those who returned
On the holiness highway to Zion,
We’re so glad for the chance to have learned.
So, with hearts filled with heavenly glory,
Praising God to whom all praise belongs,
We re-echo the beautiful story
That is told in the Evening Light Songs.
