Ora Teasley

Ora Howard Teasley was born May 15, 1876, at North Point, Pennsylvania to Joseph Martin Howard and Lucinda (McClelland) Howard. She was united in marriage to Daniel Otis Teasley on January 31, 1901.

Ora was the author of both words and music to Evening Light Songs #126, “One Thing I Can Do.” She also assisted with the music to #448, “The Atonement.” She also had a part in the writing of other songs in older, out-of-print songbooks by the Gospel Trumpet Company.
